to feel pain is to be alive

Do what you need to do, do what you want to do. Anticipate pain. Without pain, you won’t last long under pressure. Pain is the jet fuel for inner motivation. People say pain is temporary, don’t give up. Don’t quit. BS. Pain is not temporary. Pain is intermittent. It should never be completely absent. When you reach the state of zero pain, you are dead. Pain is resistance. And, there is no growth without resistance.

Be glad that you have today. Align your intention and your thoughts. Seize your chance while you have your breath.

Think about it.

“Find a place inside where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.” – Joseph Campbell

I love this article, I enjoyed reading the like minded thoughts about the reality of pain. It IS misalignment at its core. One of the exercises I strive to master is; beginning each day understanding the true inner workings of pain and how to react in a positive manner. I try shifting the negative, or painful, perspectives into happier thoughts bit by bit. For instance, after the death of my beloved Princess, I started each day believing “Time will heal”. I worked through my memories n triggers and felt the loss. After a week or so, I began understanding “Princess is very happy right now. She is in perfect condition. ” With each phase of the healing, I embraced pain, but only if it was temporary and lead to spiritual growth. If it didn’t, then I still had lots of work to do.
